Here are some of the last pictures of Budapest. The majority of these pictures were taken at Pest. For those who don’t know, the part with the Castle is called Buda, the other side of the Danube is called Pest. You can see the big church called Basilika with the Palm tree on the side. In front of it there is this statue of the Policeman.
He was one of the most popular people in Budapest, because he was always so friendly and all the kids loved to play with him. He also couldn’t stop complimenting all the beautiful women that crossed his way. Our free tour guide told us that if you pass him, you definitely should stroke his belly for some extra luck. 😀 But if you’re in search for your big love you should roll the ends of his beard . haha If you’re taken and you want to take a picture with the policemen stay at his right side, if you’re not, switch to the left side! ;D She also told us about the little girl who wanted to be a price, the golden coin in the statue of Mihály Vörösmarty and the first ever Station in the city. It would be a bit too much to write it all down..
